About Acquivo

What is Acquivo?

Acquivo is a software platform that delivers the entire sell-side M&A process, valuation, marketing materials, buyer matching, and deal management, on one platform for business owners, M&A attorneys, and boutique investment banks. Owners use it to run their own sale. M&A attorneys and boutique investment banks use Acquivo Pro to run the process for their clients.

Who is Acquivo for?

Business owners with $1 million to $100 million in enterprise value who are preparing to sell, and the M&A attorneys and boutique investment banks that serve them.

Is Acquivo an investment bank or business broker?

No. Acquivo is software. The owner, or the professional working with them, runs the sale process using the platform's tools and analysis. Acquivo does not sell, advise, negotiate, or represent anyone, and is not a registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, law firm, or accounting firm.

How is Acquivo different from hiring an investment bank?

A bank runs the process for you and charges a retainer plus a success fee tied to the sale price. Acquivo gives you or your advisor the same six-phase process as software on a flat monthly subscription with no success fee, and you keep every decision.

How is Acquivo different from a business broker or a listing marketplace?

Brokers and marketplaces list a business and wait for inquiries. Acquivo prepares the business, builds marketing materials, matches it to specific qualified buyers from a database of 12,000+ active acquirers, and manages the process through to a signed LOI.

How the platform works

What does the sell-side process on Acquivo include?

Six phases: discovery and readiness, valuation, marketing materials including teaser and CIM, buyer matching and outreach, offers including NDA, IOI, and data room, and negotiation through close including LOI, exclusivity, and diligence.

How does the valuation work?

A deterministic engine produces a range from normalized financials and industry calibration across 21 verticals. The same inputs always produce the same output, and every figure traces to its source.

How does buyer matching work?

The platform reads the questionnaire, the data room, and the company website and builds a ranked prospect list from a database of 12,000+ private equity, strategic, and family office buyers, each with a closed acquisition in the past two years, tagged by sector, size, geography, and deal type.

Who sees my information?

Nothing identifying goes to a buyer until that buyer has signed an NDA. Data room access is granted per buyer and tracked. You control every disclosure.

Can I bring my own attorney or advisor?

Yes. Many owners run the process with their attorney, CPA, or exit planner alongside them. Professionals who run multiple client processes use Acquivo Pro.

How long does a sale take on Acquivo?

Preparation typically takes two to six weeks. Marketing to signed LOI typically takes eight to sixteen weeks. Close depends on diligence and financing. Every business and buyer differs.

Pricing

How does pricing work for business owners?

Four tiers on a flat monthly subscription: Explorer free, Prepared $799 per month, In Market $1,999 per month, and Close $2,999 per month. Cancel any time. No success fee and no percentage of your sale.

What is included in the free Explorer tier?

A valuation estimate and a readiness assessment, so you can see what your business is worth and where it stands before you commit to anything.

How is Acquivo Pro priced?

Per seat, on a flat monthly subscription, with no per-deal fees. One seat runs multiple concurrent client processes. Request a demo for firm pricing.

Does Acquivo charge a success fee or take a percentage of the sale?

No. Never.

For M&A professionals

What is Acquivo Pro?

Acquivo Pro is the firm edition of the platform. M&A attorneys and boutique investment banks use it to run the entire sell-side process for every client from one login: valuations, marketing materials, buyer matching, and NDA, IOI, and LOI flow, with a branded document portal for the client.

Can an M&A attorney run a competitive sale process on Acquivo Pro?

Yes. The platform supplies the production capacity, including valuation, CIM, buyer list, and pipeline, that a law firm does not have, and the attorney and client make every decision and every contact. Firms should confirm their own regulatory posture with their own counsel.

Does my client see Acquivo?

The client sees a document portal under your firm's branding where requests appear and uploads happen once. You see the whole process.

Who owns the data?

Your firm and your client. Client data is isolated and is not used to train models for other customers.
